"As a father of five and a runner, when I heard about the opportunity to run a half marathon to raise money for Gift of Adoption, I had to jump at the chance. Especially since three of my own children are adopted.
In the end I was able to raise over $3000 to help a family in my home state of Indiana add two wonderful children into their home! Oh, and on a warm, August Sunday in Chicago I finished the Rock and Roll Half Marathon and had a blast doing it.

Step 2—Register with Gift of Adoption Fund Charity Program.
Complete the form below and we will contact you to complete the registration process.
Step 3— Start Fundraising.
Upon registration, each participant will be connect with a fundraising coach who will help devise a fundraising plan and personal website. Consider recruiting your friends, family and colleagues to join a team.
Step 4—Train with CARA
Gift of Adoption participants are eligible for a discounted training program through the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA). Visit www.cararuns.org for details.
